Hard @ work - the Science Team working on 31/5 Lead Teacher Day.
Wednesday 23rd (Sandy -Science)
Hi fellow science teachers - whats the plan re next Thursday? I would love to hear what others are doing with IT in science - could part of the day be a show and tell where we all bring some 'best practice' to share??
Wednesday 23rd (Rosie)
Have logins and passwords for www and an IT Technician will be @ E15 and E17 @ 9am on both days - 28th and 31st to help you if there are any access issues.
Morning tea will be provided but either bring lunch, cafes abound in Mt Eden or there is the staff cafeteria right next door in A block.

TO ANGELA:
Hi, Angela. Rosemary has told me this morning that Mike prefers that you be covered on Thurs. (31st). That is great for me because I could not attend on the 28th due to an 'exam' session I have on that morning. Would you prefer to use one of the rooms at ACE that Rosemary has booked -or- would you prefer to work at Aorere -or- at Glendowie? As I am the one requesting time with you, I will do whatever you prefer. I am really looking forward to getting some GREAT tips and suggestions from you regarding the Computing courses that we teach!
Tues 15/5 (from Rosemary)
I have booked two rooms @ the Faculty of Education in Epsom Ave (Gate 3, Parking in Gate 2) Monday 28th May - one for Social Sciences and one for English. They are very close together E15 and E17. You dont have to use these but following up on Linda's comments it could be a good idea to have a neutral environment. I have also booked the same two rooms for Thursday 31st for Maths and Science. There are only two teachers in Maths, Priscilla (Glendowie) and Mary (SH) They may prefer to work in one of the schools but I booked the rooms in case they would like to come there. Cherise and Aaron can either work with another Faculty of their choice or they can work with a Facilitator, or whatever! Vicki and Angela - I had you both on separate days so you could work with the curriculum areas but if you like I could put you both on Thursday so you can work together, and at the same time be available to support curriculum areas. Angela - I spoke to Mike and he would prefer you both are on Thursday as that makes fewer staff out on that day.
Laptops - bring your laptops. I am going to talk to our technician about getting you logins for the day and will get back to you about this. Certainly there will be www available.
It is up to you to decide what your Agenda is. Add ideas and join in the discussion.
I would also appreciate it if you would go into the Reflective Journals link and start doing some reflective comments as this is a Ministry requirement for Milestone 6, due 8 June.
